FREE Support for Parents and Carers of SEND Children

Are you a parent or carer of a child with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? 

 

Navigating the complexities of SEND can be overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone.

 

Join us for free support sessions every Tuesday and Thursday at Sussex Pavilion. Our dedicated volunteer, with 18 years of professional and personal experience, is here to help you with paperwork for EHCPs and DLA forms, and provide expert advice on SEND-related issues.

 

Meet Our Volunteer:

  • Experience: 18 years in childcare, learning, and development up to age 16
  • Qualifications:
    • Level 4 SEND Diploma
    • Level 3 Children's Learning and Development
    • Emotional Coaching Training
    • NHS Speech and Language Training
  • Personal Insight: Parent of two SEND children
  • Enhanced DBS: Fully cleared
  • Specialisations: SENDCO, SEND, Safeguarding, and Early Years Education
  • Holistic Support: Wide knowledge of techniques for holistic support for your child

What We Offer:

  • Personalised guidance and support
  • Help with EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans) and DLA (Disability Living Allowance) forms
  • Expert advice on navigating the SEND landscape
